New horses, Lanaken, Valkenswaard, etc.

27.04.2019

Went for a short quick trip to Ireland over the weekend to see my family:) Went as a surplice so they where all a bit chocked to see me. Best way to get some new inspiration and to reload with energy! To see my 3 favourite boys and the rest of my family.

The last couple of weeks have bean very busy with many new horses and shows every week.

i spent 2 weeks in Lanaken CSI3* with 5 horses the first week and 6 horses the 2nd week. First week was a very good week with many clear rounds from all horses. 6yo Bellona did 2 nice clear rounds and had the last fence down the 3rd day. 7yo Cleo jumped all 3 days very good and feels ready to do a step up. Gigi jumped also good and had one down in the 1* GP. Quinn did some nice rounds and was placed in 1.40 classes. Diva was jumping amazing and only had one small mistake in a difficult 1.50 3* GP.

The 2nd week i had two new horses from Zangersheide, Copper and Zaza. Both 9yo and already jumped some 1.45 classes. We got off with a good start and i feel very privileged to have the ride on them.

After Lanaken we did 2 weeks at the beautiful show in Valkenswaard. Always so nice to ride there with super facilities. I had also here 5-6 horses so it was a busy show. But with many good results and horses was feeling great. Diabolo also a new horse was placed in the 1.40 1* GP. Bellona had some nice rounds in the 6yo classes. Cleo was with us the 2nd week and jumped 3 fantastic clears in the 7yo classes and finishing on 9th place in the final. This guy is really something for the future and i can't wait for him to make the next step up.

Over all we had a good couple of weeks with a lot of shows and also some new horses and some getting sold.

Xx
